Tigerhomes-The next chapter

For those of you who have been following my blogs, you will know that I have not posted new ones in some time. I was out internet for about 2 months and then had some other things going on, and just didn't have the time to update things. I'm back now and I have tons of pics to share with you and will be updating my other blogs as well. I'm updating the Tigerhoms blog first as I feel it is the most important, and those of you who know me, know how I feel about this. You can visit the Tigerhomes sanctuary website here: www.tigerhomes.org . There is just Way too much info for me to list here, so you would do good to check it out yourself. And as I always do, I'm asking anyone out there who has never sent in a donation to anything ever in your life, or even if you have, to consider helping these guys out. I know some may be skeptical, and I was the same way and I never send any money to anyone without knowing what about the cause, and knowing where the money is going.
Yes, there are other websites, that have cams, but they are nothing like what these guys have. Believe me, I've checked out quiet afew. These guys have live, streaming images, not the stills that most websites have and you can see around 30 cams with tigers, lemurs, lions, leopards, and cougars. Folks it does take money to keep this going, and they do it for the education, and wildlife preservation. They do not breed at the sanctuary, and they are not open to the public. But people who donate can visit the sanctuary by appointment when the owners schedule permits. The sanctuary is owned and operated by one man and people let me tell you this guyis amazing! He does it all! He's a landscaper, electrician, cam wizzard, animal lover and caretaker and he does the biggest part of it on his own. This man has dedicated his life to helping these animals and trying to educate the future generations of tomorrow the importance of preserving wildlife! I strongly encourage you to visit their website and take a tour, there is so much to see and do and you will not be disappointed! Oh, and you can tell them the "Kitty" sent ya! :)

Are you watching Me??

Sometimes you would have to swear that these guys know that they are being watched!

Black and White Lemurs

Now these guys are a hoot to watch and they are so cute! But according to the sanctuary owner, you definitely don't want to get bit by one of these guys! Their teet may be small, but they are razor sharp! Ouch!

Marcan

Marcan, the male Golden tiger at the Tigerhomes Sanctuary.

Ring-tailed lemur Sitting

I also spend quite a bit of time watching the lemurs also. This day I just happened to switch over to one of the ring-tailed lemurs cam and caught this guy sitting pretty!

The Lokster

Ok, hope you guys never get tired of seeing these, but Yes, I have more white tiger pics than any of the other animals at the sanctuary. I've always had a passion for the guys ever since I can remember, and then when I found Tigerhomes, Loki and Tundra stole my heart! How could you not love a face like that ?!

Twisted Ring-tail

Here I was just playing around some more with paintshop, using a pic I had taken of one of the Ring-tailed lemurs from the live Tigerhome cams.

Golden Day

Here I got a shot of one of the Golden tigers, also known as Strawberry Tigers, at the Tigerhomes Sanctuary in South Florida. You can check out their website at www.tigerhomes.org

MVP

Well, no explanation is needed for this one....hehe. ; )
With alittle help from Corels Paintshop X.

Ring-tailed

Well, you can't see the face on this little cutie, but this is one of the most clearest pics of the ring-tails that I've gotten to date. These guys are so cute and so Awesome to watch!

Favorites

Well, anyone who knows me, knows that the two white tigers, Tundra and Loki are my Absolute Fav's at the Tigerhomes Sanctuary. With the Black and White lemurs coming in a close second. Just look at those smiling faces! : 0 )

Lazy Afternoon

Here's a pic I took from the cam and I really got lucky on this one. Normally I don't get such good pics of the Bengal tigers, Clarence & Gypsy! I really loved this one!
